Problems of cellular organization, interactions, and control. Cell growth and death, cell-cell recognition and communication, intracellular transport, the structure and assembly of cellular organelles, somatic cell genetics, and evolution of cells.
Prerequisites: BIOL 541 or equivalent
Note: Three lecture hours per week.
